Refit S/Y Annie

Annie still had the original Volvo Penta MD5A diesel engine from 1976 installed and it had certainly seen better days. When it started showing signs of weakness the decision was made to upgrade Annie to a new and modern electrical powertrain and to forever put the days of having an oily bilge behind. 

The only oil Annie will hopefully ever see again is olive oil in its compact but well equipped galley.

The components which went into the build were:

• ePropulsion Pod Drive Evo 6.0

• ePropulsion Battery E163

• ePropulsion Evo Side Mount Control

What was removed can be seen in the pictures below but it is mainly:

• Volvo Penta MD5A diesel engine

• Fuel system including fuel tank, piping

• Exhaust system and water cooling system including hoses, seacocks and through-hulls
